Questions You May Ask: What’s My Calling? How Do I Answer The Call of God On My Life?

Isaiah 60:1-5

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

But you may wonder:

  • But how do I do this?
  • What is my calling?
  • What is my gift set?
  • How do I answer the call of God in my life?
  • What if I am single?
  • What if I have a spouse and kids?
  • My circle of friends are church people, how do I even begin to reach the lost?

  • I need to understand the Bible more but also God’s heart for humanity and Holy Spirit
  • Does God heal and do miracles today? If so, how do I participate in what He is doing today?
  • Where do I even start? When do I start? Am I qualified? Do I need a theology degree? What about resources and funding?
  • Does a mission field have to be in a jungle or can it be in education, entertainment, media, business, health etc?
  • How do I embrace Kingdom principles and put this into life practically?
