To truly know him is to have an intimate relationship with Him. Spending time with Him, in the scriptures, in prayer, in worship and listening to Him in the secret place.

Being in fellowship with other believers will also help strengthen you – iron sharpens iron! Also, as you step out in your place of influence in business and ministry, you will experience God moving in the most unexpected and wonderful ways.

Having good Biblical knowledge is a basic foundation for your spiritual life and health for your life and ministry as a whole! This is something that cannot be neglected. It is foundational and necessary throughout your life.

Proper interpretation of the scriptures is so important. Some interpret the Bible just as word and miss the boat on the fact that it is a double edged sword – it is Word and Spirit! We must understand the heart of God as the Bible is a love letter to humanity that brings life and not a word that kills.

2 Corinthians 4:4-6 teaches us:

4 And we have such trust through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, 6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the [a]Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
